Wheeler - Sallie St. Clair

Sallie C. St. Clair was born in Otisco, Clarke County, Ind., March 31, 1859. At the age of 15 years, she united with the Presbyterian Church at Mt. Lebanon. She was married to Allen M. Wheeler, of New Ross, Ind., March 14, 1886. To them was born two sons, Stanley E. and Arthur E., Stanley E. preceding the mother to that better home at the age of six months. She placed her membership with the Christian Church at New Ross shortly after moving to that place. She has been a devoted Christian, always willing to do any duty assigned her, a kind and loving mother, a devoted and affectionate wife. She departed this life January 3, 1901, at the age of 41 years, 7 months and 2 days, leaving a husband, son, mother, four sisters, two brothers, and many friends to mourn her loss. - s
